After our long experience in machining extra-hard material we can offer custom-made products in little or large series. There are many types of fine ceramics meeting almost every requirement:
- steatite: high electrical insulating performances with low mechanical resistance,
- alumina: very hard, high corrosion resistance, good mechanical characteristics,
- zirconia: high resilience, good corrosion resistance,
- silicon nitride: high resistance to thermal shock, good mechanical and corrosion resistance.
All of them have a good resistance to high temperature. The technical data of three types are in the table, many other types can be supplied for specific applications.
